NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized
to adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of
Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
December 15, 1994, approved the following names for the certain
unnamed roadways in the Ainakea Village, Unit II, Ainakea, North
Kohala, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
said roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be
named as follows:
Hiwahiwa Street - "The favorite one; beloved" (extension
of existing street)
the Place - "Spear"
Kolonahe Street - "Gentle pleasant breeze" (extension
of existing street)
Kolonahe Place - "Gentle pleasant breeze
Pu'eke Place - "To embrace, hug"
Uma Place - "Hand wrestling"
