RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF SEVENTY-TWO (72) FIVE
MATERIALOSEROVICESNOFSHAWAIIAFFITI REMOVER FROM ACOUSTICAL
WHEREAS, Acoustical Material Services of Hawaii is a caring
business concerned about the ugly effect graffiti has on our
community; and
WHEREAS, Acoustical Material Services of Hawaii, a
construction supply house, now have products which they feel
will help fight the problem of graffiti; and
WHEREAS, Acoustical Material Services of Hawaii has donated
tovtheyDepartmentfoPeParks9andoRecreationrsand graffiti remover
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts of donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12,
Hawaii County Charter, the Department oP Parks and Recreation is
authorized to accept the donation of seventy-two (72) five (5)
gallon containers of graffiti remover from Acoustical Material
Services oP Hawaii.
