RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A PANASONIC VIDEO CAMCORDER FROM
THE HAWAII POLICE ATHLETIC FEDERATION.
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Po/iceAth/etic federation, whose President is Sergeant Gregory Hunt, of the
Hono/u/u Po/ice Department has donated a Panasonic Video Camcorder, Model No. 458, to the Hawaii Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the donated video camcorder is one thousand eight hundiedninety-five
do//ors and no cents (S1895.001; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf
of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance
with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii Police Department is authorized to
accept the donation of a Panasonic Video Camcorder from the Hawaii Police Athletic federation.
