RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A PANASONIC 20" TELEVISIONI VCR
COMBINATION, TELEVISION WALL•MOUNT BRACKET, NADY WIRELESS MICROPHONE SYSTEM, AND A
PANASONIC OMNIVISION VIDEO CASSETTE RECORDER FROM THE HAWAII PREPARATORY ACADEMY -
McDONALD'S - D.A.R.E. TIP-OFF BASKETBALL CLASSIC.
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Preparatory Academy - McOone/d's - D.A.B.E. Tip-Of/Basketba//C/assic, whose
Executive Director is Stephen Perry, of the Hawaii Preparatory Academy has donated a Panasonic 20"
Televisionl VCR Combination, Television Wall•Mount Bracket, Nady Wireless Microphone System, and a Panasonic
Omnivision Video Cassette Recorder, to the Hawaii Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of these donated items is one thousand thirty -three do//ors and no cents
/51033.00/; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13.12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf
of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUA!CIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance
with Article XIII, Section 13.12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii Police Department is authorized to
accept the donation of a Panasonic 20" Televisionl VCR Combination, Television Wall-Mount Bracket, Nady
Wireless Microphone System, and a Panasonic Omnivision Video Cassette Recorder from the Hawaii Preparatory
Academy - McDona/d's - D.A.R.E. Tip-07l Basketba//Classic.
