RESOLUTION N0. ~ 95
WHEREAS, Position No. 3278, Building Custodian I 1/4T currently
services the Pomaikai Senior Center in South Hilo two (2) hours a
day; and
WHEREAS, the Keaau Community Center and Kamana Senior Center
lost their custodial services due to the Senior Employment Program
rotation; and
WHEREAS, with the increase and frequent utilization of all three
facilities, a need to keep these centers clean on a regular basis is
imperative to the senior groups as well as the community; and
WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of Position No. 3278
from ten (10) hours
having Position No.

Services to cover the cost of the additional time element.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Position No. 3278, Building Custodian I 1/4T, BC-02, be
changed to Building Custodian I 9/20T, BC-02.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds are available in
010-519-5519.71-011, Elderly Activities Division, Elderly Recreation
Services Regular Salaries and Wages account of the Department of
Parks & Recreation.
HE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks & Recreation, Finance and
Civil Service.
