A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR WATER AT OSORIO
LANE, KUKUAU 2ND, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, ISLAND, COUNTY AND STATE
OF HAWAII, TAX MAP KEY NO. (3)2-2-008-049, TO TRISTAN E.M. OSORIO,
JR. AND BARBARA J.R. OSORIO.
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is the owner of that certain
parcel of land located in Kukuau 2nd, South Hilo, Hawaii,
specifically identified as Tax Map Key (3)2-2-008-049, more
particularly described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B"
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, Tristan E.M. Osorio, Jr. and Barbara J.R. Osorio need
the Grant of Easement for water service at Osorio Lane due to the
realignment of the Alenaio Stream which eliminated their earlier
easements; and
WHEREAS, Section 2-111 of the Hawaii County Code requires that
the Council, by resolution, authorize the Grant of Easement from the
County of Hawaii, subject, however, to reversion to the County of
Hawaii upon termination or abandonment of the easement for the
specific purposes for which it was granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII, in accordance with Section 2-111 of the Hawaii County Code,
that the County of Hawaii authorizes a grant of easement for water
purposes at Osorio Lane as delineated on the map attached hereto, of
Tax Map Key (3)2-2-008-049 until termination or abandonment of that
specific purpose to Tristan E.M. Osorio, Jr. and Barbara J.R.
Osorio, their heirs, personal representatives or assigns.

DESCRIPTION
WATERLINE EASEMENT
Being a Portion of Government (Crown) Land of Ponahawai
Situated at Ponahawai, South Hilo, Island o(Hawaii, Hawaii
Beginning at the southwest corner of this easement parcel, on the northeast side of Kinoole Street,
the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station 'HALM",
being 1226.14 feet North and 3747.60 feet East, and running by azimuths measured clockwise from True
South:
1. 148° 47' 10.04 feet along Kinoole Street;
2. 257° 57' 15.57 feet along R.P. 730, L. C. Aw. 1334 to Keawehano;
Thence, along same on a curve to the left with a radius of
190.00 feet, the chord azimuth and distance being:
3. 247° 55' 30" 66.15 feet;
4. 237° 54' 58.64 feet along same;
5. 317° 11' 15.18 feet along same;
6. 63° 12' 102.69 feet along the remainder of Government (Crown) Land of
Ponahawai;
7. 137° 17' 3.00 feet along same;
8. 81 ° 41' 30.21 feet along same;
9. 42° 55' 11.26 feet along same to the point of beginning and containing an
area of 1287 square feet as shown on "Alenaio Stream
Flood Control Parcel Map Showing Construction
Easements C-28, C-29 & C-30", prepared by Austin,
