RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM HARRY C. NAKASHIMA; TAX MAP KEY NUMBER
(3)8-1-006-108.
WHEREAS, Harry C. Nakashima is the owner of real property in
Keopuka, South Kona, Hawaii, specifically Tax Map Key Number
(3)8-1-006-108; consisting of approximately 408 square feet or
0.009 acre, being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and
delineated on Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, this property is a remnant roadway parcel; and
WHEREAS, Harry C. Nakashima has graciously donated this
property to the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
OF HAWAII, that in accords
the Hawaii County Charter,
donation of real property,
(3)8-1-006-108, consisting
Harry C. Nakashima.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
ice with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of
the County of Hawaii accepts the

of 408 square feet or 0.009 acre, from
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent
to Harry C. Nakashima.

Being a portion of
~ Grant 148 to Daniel Barrett
Keopuka, South Kona, Island of Nawaii
Beginning at the southwest corner of this parcel of land and a jog on the
easterly side of Mamalahoa Highway. the coordinates of said point of beginning
referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "LAE-O-KANONI" being
23,921.12 feet North and 569.43 feet West and running by azimuths measured
clockwise from True South:
1. 172° 39' 104.78 feet along the Old Government Main Road;
Thence along Lot 3-A, Lot 3-B and Lot 6 on a
curve to the right with a radius of 1,940.08
feet, the chord azimuth and distance being:
2. 348° 48' 57" 103.20 feet;
3. 68° 1.13 feet along a jog on the easterly side of
Mamalahoa Highway to the point of beginning
and containing an area of 408 SQUARE FEET or
0.009 ACRE.
