RESOLUTION
AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RULE 5 OF THE RULES OF PROCF,DURE OF TIC
COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII RELATING TO CO~TVIITTEES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Section 3 of
Rule 5 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Rule 5
COMMITTEES
There shall be four (4) kinds of committees, namely:
(a) Standing Committees
(b) Subcommittees
(c) Ad Hoc Committees
(d) Committee of the Whole
2. The members of the Council shall appoint all standing committees and designate
the committee chairperson and vice-chairperson of each committee.
3. The chairperson of the council shall be an ex-officio member of all committees
and may be counted towards constitutint* a committee's duo gym."
