RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A PANASONIC
ELECTRONIC TYPEWRITER AND A SECRETARIAL CHAIR FROM MR. MERVIN IKEDA
WHEREAS, Mr. Mervin Ikeda, whose address is 1174 Launa Street, Hilo,
Hawaii 96720, has donated a Panasonic electronic typewriter and a
secretarial chair to the Hawaii County Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the donated office equipment and
furniture is one hundred dollars ($100.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or
donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF. IT- RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County
Charter, the Hawaii County Police Department is authorized to accept the
donation of a Panasonic electronic typewriter and a secretarial chair
from Mr. Mervin Ikeda.
