RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF TWO SECRETARIAL
CHAIRS AND ONE DESK FROM H & R BLOCK
WHEREAS, H & R Block, whose District Manager is Terry Carpenter of
32 Kinoole Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, has donated two secretarial
chairs and one desk to the Hawaii County Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the donated office furniture is one
hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or
donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, I3E IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County
Charter, the Hawaii County Police Department is authorized to accept the
donation of two secretarial chairs and one desk from H & R Block.
