RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF CASH FROM VIRGINIA K.
BESSERT.
WHEREAS, Virginia K. Bessert, 1929 Regent Street, Madison,
Wisconsin 53705, in thanking the County of Hawaii for a wonderful
vacation, has donated cash in the amount of ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($100.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii
County Charter, the County of Hawaii, Department of Finance, is
authorized to accept the donation of cash from Virginia K. Bessert.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 20th day of March 1996.
