RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A CANON FACSIMILE
MACHINE FROM NOVA GROUP INC.
WHEREAS, Nova Group Inc., whose Project Superintendent is Steven B.
Sibert of 49 Ponahawai Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, has donated a Canon
facsimile machine to the Hawaii County Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the donated office equipment is three
hundred forty-two dollars and seventy-one cents ($342.71); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or
donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County
Charter, the Hawaii County Police Department is authorized to accept the
donation of a Canon facsimile machine from Nova Group Inc.
