RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM WILLIAM K. CABLES AND MARK E. CABLES; TAX MAP KEY
NUMBER (3)1-1-115-053.
WHEREAS, William K. Carles and Mark E. Carles are the owners
of real property in the Royal Gardens Subdivision, Unit VI, in
Puna, specifically Taa Map Key Number (3)1-1-115-053; consisting
of approximately 43,560 square feet; and
WHEREAS, this property has been inundated with lava and is
of no present or foreseeable future use to William K. Carles and
Mark E. Carles; and
WHEREAS, they have graciously donated this property to the
County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
OF HAWAII, that in accords
the Hawaii County Charter,
donation of real property,
(3)1-1-115-053, consisting
Carles and Mark E. Carles.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
ice with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of
the County of Hawaii accepts the
identified as Taz Map Key Number
of 43,560 square feet, from William K.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent
to William K. Carles and Mark E. Carles.
