RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 5-3.3 (d) of the Charter of the County of Hawaii
requires that the Council designate the depositories for funds under the
control of the County:
WHEREAS, with an account with Columbus Bank and Trust Company,
American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus (AFLAC), plan service
provider of our County employees flexible spending accounts effective
July 1, 1996, will be able to process daily requests for reimbursements
within 24-hours after receipt;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That Columbus Bank and Trust Company be approved as a depository
for these funds;
2. That the County Clerk be and she is hereby directed to transmit
certified copies of this Resolution to Columbus Bank and Trust
Company, American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus and
to the Director of Finance of the County of Hawaii; and
3. That this Resolution be effective immediately.
