BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby directed and instructed to forward a
copy of this resolution to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance be and is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council concurs with the request of the Finance Director that the
funds for the projects listed in Communication No. 1225.01 in addifion to the above stated $99,999 be
placed into a designated fund balance account.

As you are aware, the Council transferred monies into various administrative accounts to pursue
district projects specified by each Council member in fiscal year 1995-96. Due to procurement
issues and budget deadlines, several projects will not be accomplished because funds will lapse
on June 30, 1996. If this occurs, we request your concurrence to lapse these funds into a
designated fund balance account so that they will remain available for reappropriation to the
following projects in fiscal year 1996-97:
