- RESOLUTION
All
WHEREAS, during a reorganization of the elderly recreation
division, funds appropriated for Position No. 3471, Recreation
Technician II, SR-11, were utilized for reallocations of Position
No. 3469, Recreation Technician III, SR-13; Position No. 3470,
Recreation Technician III, SR-13; Position No. 3553, Recreation
Technician II, SR-11, and Position No. 2381, Senior Clerk Typist,
SR-10; and
WHEREAS, all three reallocated recreational positions have been
assigned additional duties and a larger geographical area to service
and the clerical position to a change in duties; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County
Charter states that the Mayor has the power to "Create
positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council
and abolish positions with the consent of the council."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
1. That Position No. 3471, Recreation Technician II, SR-11, be
abolished.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks & Recreation, Finance and
Civil Service.
