RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GAS STOVE AND THREE
FIFTY-FIVE GALLON SONOCO FIBER DRUMS.
WHEREAS, Bernice Tanioka, 15-3104 Halelo Place, Pahoa,
Hawaii 96778, has donated a Hardwick gas stove and three
fifty-five gallon Sonoco Fiber drums to the County of Hawaii,
Parks and Recreation Department for the kitchen of the Hawaiian
Beaches Park; and
WHEREAS, the value of the donated gas stove and three
fifty-five gallon drums is Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars
($225.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIiI, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12,
Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii, Department of Parks &
Recreation, is authorized to accept the donation of a Hardwick gas
stove and three fifty-five gallon Sonoco Fiber drums from
Bernice Tanioka.
