RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM SHIRO KOIKE AND VICKY Y. KOIKE, HUSBAND AND WIFE AND
PETER PAUL KOIKE AND ALTHEA KOIKE, HUSBAND AND WIFE; TAX MAP KEY
NUMBER (3) 1-2-012-117
WHEREAS, Shiro Koike and Vicky Y. Koike, husband and wife
and Peter Paul Koike and Althea Koike, husband and wife are the
owners of real property situate at "Kalapana Vacation Lots,"
Lot 475, Island and County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii,
specifically Tag Map Key Number (3) 1-2-12-117; consisting of
approximately 7,500 square feet; and
WHEREAS, they have graciously donated this property to the
County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12
of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii accepts the
donation of the real property, identified as Taa Map Key Number
(3) 1-2-12-117, consisting of 7,500 square feet from Shiro Koike
and Vicky Y. Koike, husband and wife andiPeter Paul Koike and
Althea Koike, husband and wife.
BE IT FURTHER RESOL~IED that a letter of appreciation be
sent to Shiro Koike and Vicky Y. Koike and Peter Paul Koike and
Althea Koike.
