SUBJECT: A Resolution Urging the Hawaii State Legislature to Support and Provide
State Funding for the Highest Priority Capital Improvement Projects in the
County of Hawaii
The purpose of this resolution is to create a priority list consisting of capital improvement
projects throughout the Big Island. This is a "work in progress" resolution.
The most effective way to gain the support of our State Legislators is to submit "one" priority
list from the full Council rather than nine separate district lists. Lobbying as a unified Council
will achieve better results.
I encourage all Council Members to submit their top priority project. After each Council
Member submits their proposal, together we will determine the priority for each project and
rank them accordingly.
