RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 46-32, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Relating to
Employees of Council, authorizes the Council of any County to
appoint and employ personnel as it deems necessary and to prescribe
their powers, duties and compensation; and
WHEREAS, Section 3-14, Hawaii County Charter, provides for
interim amendments to the Salary Ordinance be made by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that it needs to reorganize the
Legislative Auditor's operations by providing necessary staff with
which the Legislative Auditor will be able to best serve the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Section 3 of Ordinance 92-75 is hereby amended by adding
the following pay grade schedules for the positions of Legislative
Auditor Assistant I and Legislative Auditor Assistant II.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Section 8.01 of Ordinance 92-75
relating to positions of the Office of the County Council is amended
by adding the following:
Two (2) Legislative Auditor Assistant I
Two (2) Legislative Auditor Assistant II

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Civil Service and Finance.
