RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A 1987 ISUZU
4-WHEEL PICKUP TRUCK FROM THE CONCERNED CITIZENS OF SOUTH KOHALA
WHEREAS, the Concerned Citizens of South Kohala, whose president is
William T. White, III, of Kamuela, has donated a 1987 Isuzu 4-wheel
pickup truck to the Hawaii County Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the donated truck is five thousand six
hundred twenty-four dollars and twenty-four cents ($5,624.24); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or
donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the
Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii County Police Department is
authorized to accept the donation of a 1987 Isuzu 4-wheel pickup truck
from the Concerned Citizens of South Kohala.
