RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF A NEW RESCUE ROPE AND
D-RINGS FROM 'IO AVIATION HELICOPTERS.
WHEREAS, 'IO Aviation Helicopters has donated 330 feet of
static Kernmantle Rhino rescue rope and a quantity of D-rings,
both of which are in new and unused condition; and
WHEREAS, 'Io Aviation Helicopters hopes that its donated
equipment will be used by the Hawaii County Fire Department
rescue helicopter during rescue operations; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts or donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of
the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii accepts the
donation of a new rescue rope and D-rings from 'io Aviation
Helicopters.
