RESOLUTION
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
May 12, 1993, approved the names for the certain unnamed roadways in
the Lanipuna Gardens Subdivision, Keahialaka and Pohoiki, Puna,
Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as
follows:
Hinalo Street - Flower of the pandanus
Honua'ula Street - Named after Puu Honua'ula, nearby
Lauone Street - Fertile, easy to cultivate
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 14th day of July , 1993.
