RESOLUTION
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to
adopt the street names of unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii
pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii County Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
June 17, 1993, approved the names for the certain unnamed roadways in
Maliu Ridge Subdivision, Phase Z, Kaauhuhu, Kahei, Kakuipahu, North
Kohala, Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said
roadways, as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as
follows:
Pu'u Mamo Drive - Hill of the Black Hawaiian honey creeper
Keahipoe Place - Little Keahi, for a child
Kukini Place - Runner, swift messenger, as used by the
chiefs, to run swiftly, as a messenger
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 22nd, day of _ September 1993.
