RESOLUTION N0. 128 93
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FUEL TAX EXPENDITURE PLAN
WHEREAS, Resolution 397-88, adopted by the Hawaii County
Council on March 15, 1988, provided an additional 3.8
cents per gallon increase in the County fuel tax rate; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 351-91, adopted by the Hawaii County
Council on August 7, 1991, provided that the district
distribution formula be updated biennially; and
WHEREAS, in keeping with the intent of the periodic update
of the distribution formula, the Department of Public
Works has done the necessary fact finding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that the district distribution formula as
delineated in Resolution 351-91 is hereby amended as
follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amended district
distribution formula will take effect on July 1, 1994.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be directed to transmit a copy of this resolution
to the Honorable Stephen K. Yamashiro, Mayor, Ms. Donna
Fay K. Kiyosaki, Chief Engineer, and Mr. Harry Takahashi,
Finance Director.
