RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE ABANDONED ROAD AT
PU'UANAHULU.
WHEREAS, that certain road located at Pu'uanahulu, North
Kona, was the subject of Resolution No. 122 passed by this Council
on November 17, 1993; and
WHEREAS, this Council having determined by Resolution No. 122
on November 17, 1993, that it is in the best interest of the
County of Hawaii that the aforesaid road at Pu'uanahulu be
abandoned, discontinued as a public highway and sold to abutting
property owners; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 122 passed by this Council on
November 17, 1993, resolved that the County of Hawaii initiate
proceedings to dispose of the property of the aforesaid road at
Pu'uanahulu in fee simple after ensuring that the grant of
easement attached to Resolution No. 122 has been signed and
delivered to the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 122 further resolved that any sale
price for the aforesaid road at Pu'uanahulu be first approved by
resolution of the Council of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the aforesaid road at Pu'uanahulu has been appraised
at $13,300, and the aforesaid grant of easement has been filed
with the Bureau of Conveyances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that the County of Hawaii sell the aforesaid road at
Pu'uanahulu to Puu Lani Ranch Corporation in fee simple for the
price of $30,000.
