HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 197 Draft 01 1992-1994COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION N0. 19? 94 WHEREAS, Chapter 2, Article 19, of the Hawaii County Code provides that the County Council may, by resolution approved by a majority of its members, dispose of real property; and WHEREAS, two (2) cottages located at Ka'u High and Elementary School, one (1) cottage located at Waimea Intermediate and Elementary, and three (3) cottages located at Kohala High and Elementary School are surplus and may be removed due to phasing out of teachers' cottages; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the County of Hawaii that: 1. In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2, Article 19 of the Hawaii County Code, the Director of Finance is authorized to dispose the cottages located at Ka'u High and Elementary School, Pahala, Hawaii, TMK: 9-6-05:08; Waimea Intermediate and Elementary School, Kamuela, Hawaii, TMK: 6-7-02:15; and Kohala High and Elementary School, Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 5-4-07:08; by public auction. 2. The Director of Finance to determine the date, place, and reasonable terms and conditions of the auction. 3. If no acceptable bids are received, that the cottages be demolished and removed expeditiously.
