RESOLUTION N0. ~~ ~
WHEREAS, The City and County of Honolulu provides the
County of Hawaii with data processing services in support
of its real property tag system; and
WHEREAS, the City also provides tag mapping services
for all parcels located in the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement with the City covers the period
of twelve (12) months, commencing July 1, 1993, and ending
June 30, 1994, and shall continue to remain in force from
year to year, subject to yearly appropriation and
availability of funds; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Hawaii County Charter
provides that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring the payment of funds from the appropriations of
a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall
be made or approved by resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it approves that the term of the
agreement after the initial twelve months, commencing
July 1, 1993, and ending June 30, 1994, be continued and
remain in force from year to year, subject to yearly
appropriations and availability of funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be
transmitted to the Honorable Stephen K. Yamashiro, Mayor;
Corporation Counsel and Director of Finance.
