RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A COLOR TV/VCR
COMBINATION TO PRPAALOA GYM FROM LAUPAHOEHOE HIGH SCHOOL,
ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Laupahoehoe High School, Athletic Department, has
donated a color TV/VCR; and
WHEREAS, the color TV/VCR is donated to the Papaaloa Gym
and is to be used for instructional purposes; and
WHEREAS, the value of the donated color TV/VCR is
approximately Three Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($375) and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii Counmay
Charter provides that the Council on behalf of the County,
accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section
13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Department of Parks and
Recreation is authorized to accept the donation of a color
TV/VCR combination to Papaaloa Gym from Laupahoehoe High
School, Athletic Department.
