RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM MRS. BEATRICE M. DEAN; TAX MAP KEY NUMBER
(3)1-2-014-026.
WHEREAS, Mrs. Beatrice M. Dean is the owner of real property
in Kalapana Vacation Lots in Puna, specifically Tax Map Key
Number (3)1-2-014-026; consisting of approximately 7,500 square
feet; and
WHEREAS, this property has been inundated with lava and is
of no present or foreseeable future use to Mrs. Dean; and
WHEREAS, she has graciously donated this property to the
County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
OF HAWAII, that in accorda
the Hawaii County Charter,

RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
