RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A CONN ORGAN TO THE
WAIMEA NUTRITION PROGRAM FROM MR. CLAUDE CARAVALHO.
WHEREAS, Mr. Claude Caravalho of Kapaau, Hawaii has
donated a Conn organ; and
WHEREAS, the Conn organ is donated to the Waimea Nutrition
Program for use by the citizens of the community; and
WHEREAS, the value of the donated Conn organ is
approximately Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section
13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Department of Parks and
Recreation is authorized to accept the donation of a Conn organ
to the Waimea Nutrition Program from Mr. Claude Caravalho.
