RESOLUTION N0. 320 94
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTY FROM ELEANOR T. BRADY, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE
ESTATE OF EZLEEN WINIFRED BRADY; TAX MAP KEY NUMBER
(3)1-2-015-031.
WHEREAS, Eleanor T. Brady, Personal Representative of the
Estate of Eileen Winifred Brady, is the owners of real property
in Kalapana, specifically Tax Map Key Number (3)1-2-015-031;
consisting of 7,500 square feet; and
WHEREAS, this property has been inundated with lava and is
of no present or foreseeable future use to Eleanor T. Brady,
Personal Representative of the Estate of Eileen Winifred Brady;
and
WHEREAS, she has graciously donated this property to the
County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gifts or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of
the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii accepts the
donation of real property, identified as Tax Map Key Number
(3)1-2-015-031, consisting of 7,500 square feet, from Eleanor T.
Brady, Personal Representative of the Estate of Eileen Winifred
Brady.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent
to Eleanor T. Brady, Personal Representative of the Estate of
Eileen Winifred Brady.
