RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF WANG COMPUTER EQUIPMENT
FROM THE COUNTY OF MAUI
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance, County of Maui, 200 South
High Street, Wailuku, Maui, HI 96793, has donated various Wang work
stations and other miscellaneous equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Wang equipment will be available piecemeal as they
are phased out by Maui County in the future; and
WHEREAS, the total resale value of the donated Wang equipment is
less than Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, Hawaii
County Charter, the County of Hawaii, Department of Finance, Data
Processing Division is authorized to accept the donation of various
Wang computer equipment from the Department of Finance, County of
Maui.
