RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 5-3.3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii
requires that the Council designate the depositories in which County
funds can be deposited; and
WHEREAS, Act 27, Session Laws of Hawaii 1988, authorizes the
deposit of public funds in industrial loan companies insured by the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and doing business in this
state; and
WHEREAS, Finance Factors, Ltd. is insured by the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation and has an office in Hilo, Hawaii;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED IIY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
1. That Finance Factors, Ltd, be approved as a depository for
County funds;
2. That the County Clerk be and he is hereby directed to
transmit certified copies of this Resolution to Finance Factors,
Ltd. and to the Director of Finance of the County of Hawaii; and
3. That this Resolution be effective immediately.
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 17th day of January 1989.
