ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
(1995 EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995
edition), is amended by adding a new section 24-282.1 and schedule 30.1 to read as follows:
Section 24-282.1. Schedule 30.1. 15 minute ~arkinE areas.
When signs are erected givine notice thereof, vehicle parkin oe n the
following streets and portions of streets is limited to fifteen minutes:

North Hilo
~ South Hilo
Kilauea Avenue, mauka side. from a point sixty-four feet Puna of
Wilson Street to a point one hundred three feet in the Puna
direction. from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995
edition), is further amended by renumbering section 24-282 to 24-282.2 and schedule 30 to 30.2.
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring
need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person
or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to
this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
