Your Committee on Economic Development, under New Business, received
a verbal report from Director of Research and Development Lynn C. Z.
Maunakea that her office has compiled and updated data to
incorporate into a County Data.Book. This was accomplished without
any expense to the County.
During the ensuing discussion, the Director was congratulated on the
creativity of this effort and a motion was introduced and passed to
appropriate $3,000 from the contingency account to cover the cost of
xeroxing a Data Book.
The purpose of the attached Resolution No. 103 is to appropriate
$3,000 from Contingency Account 010-911-5911.13-341 and credit a
like amount to Xerox-Misc. Contract Svc 010-101-5101.21-115 for the
purpose of xeroxing a Data Book which would be offered for sale to
cover expenses.
Your Committee on Economic Development concurs with Resolution
No. 10'3 and recommends its adoption.
