RESOLUTION No. 133 $0
WHEREAS, Position No. 2835, Recreation Aid 1/5T was created to
man the skeet range on Wednesdays to accommodate the general public;
and
WHEREAS, the combination of the decrease in usage of the skeet
range and the increase in workload in other areas have necessitated
the shifting of manpower to the areas of custodial services; and
WHEREAS, a maintenance type worker is in greater need than a
recreation worker; and
i9HEREAS, an increase in wcrk hours is also essential due to a
work overload; and
WHEREAS, changing the Recreation Aid 1/5T to a Facilities
Maintenance & Service Worker I 2/5T would greatly enhance the smooth
operations at the Hoolulu Complex, which will result in optimum use
of manpower and satisfy the heavier workload due to increased usage
of the facilities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Position No. 2835, Recreation Aid 1/5T be reallocated to
Facilities Maintenance & Service Worker I 2/ST.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds for the reallocation portion
of $257.60 be funded from the Reallocation Account, and that no
funds for the change in time element of 1_,632 are needed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a ccpy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks & Recreation, Civil Service
and Finance.
