RESOLUTION No. 149 90
WHEREAS, Position No. 3208, Clerk-Typist 1/2T was created in
1985 to assist with the program administration in the Senior
Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP); and
WHEREAS, SCSEP is presently staffed by a Program Specialist, a
Senior Employment Counselor, and the Clerk-Typist 1/2T; and
WHEREAS, SCSEP operates and manages 70 part-time Senior
Community Services Aids and 20 part-time (temporary as needed)
Senior Community Services Aids countywide; and
WHEREAS, because of the granting of vacation and sick leave
benefits to all enrollees, the duties and responsibilities of the
Clerk-Typist 1/2T have increased to include the record keeping of
the time sheets, preparation and recording for leave of absence
(vacation and sick leave) applications, and making adjustments on
vacation and sick leave credits earned and/or taken to maintain
current balances for all SCSEP enrollees; and
WHEREAS, there will be no additional cost to the County as the
State Department of Labor and Industrial Relations has approved the
funding for the other half time through the SCSEP grant for FY
1989-90,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Position No. 3208, Clerk-Typist 1/2T be changed to
Clerk-Typist.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the State Department of Labor and
Industrial Relations has approved funding for the other half time
through its 1989-90 grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks and Recreation, Civil
Service and Finance.
