arrived in the Territory of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, over the years, the industrious and hardworking
Okinawans have prospered and estahlished homes and businesses and
became Hart. of Hawaii's rich culture and multi-ethnic society; and
W}?EREA6, 1°9n marks the 90th Anniversary of the Arrival of the
First Okinawan Immigrants to Hawaii.; and
F?HF.REA.^-, during 1990 and throughout the State of Hawaii,
Okinawan communities and organizations will he celebrating this
anniversary with many cultural festivities; and
WHEREAS, as part of this celebration, ar. Okinawan "Hari" Boat
