RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any
contract, lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from
the appropriations of a later fiscal year or more than one fiscal
year be approved by resolution, and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to lease office space of
approximately 510 square feet in West Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes to enter into a multi-year lease with
Case & Lynch for three (3) years starting from February 1, 1991,
with an option to renew the lease for two (2) years; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to lease an adjacent office
space of approximately 568 square feet; and
WHEREAS, the County wishes to enter into a multi-year lease with
Case & Lynch for three (3) years starting from February 1, 1991,
with no option to renew the lease,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII THAT sufficient funds be budgeted in future years to cover
the obligations of the County under said lease agreement.
