RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, under the Rules and Regulations of the Hawaii County Band,
Department of Parks and Recreation, the band is divided into seven
sections for administrative purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Assistant Band Director leads one section and the
other six sections each have a designated Section Leader (at the MC-5
level); and
WHEREAS, members with over 20 years service were "grandfathered" in
at the MC-5 level; and
WHEREAS, the person formerly occupying Position No. B0041 has
retired,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Position No. B0041 be and is permanently downgraded to the
MC-4 level to conform with the Rules and Regulations of the Hawaii
County Band.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks and Recreation, Civil Service
and Finance.
