Resolution No. 317 91 also requests the Planning Director to evaluate the mix uses within the peripheral lots of the Waiakea Houselots area. Although your Committee recognizes the Waiakea Houselots area as an area that is more suitable for higher density uses, your Committee also acknowledges the concerns and the desires of the long-time residents who have been experiencing urban expansion pressures. Your Committee also felt that a reevaluation of the Waiakea Houselots area should be reviewed at the neat 5-year General Plan Review. It was suggested by the Waiakea Houselots community that if all improvements in the area were made in regards to the roads, sidewalks and sewer system, then the Waiakea Houselots would be more suitably designated for commercial and light industrial uses. Your Committee on Planning concurs with Resolution No. 317 91 and recommends its adoptio TAKASHI D INGO, C AIRMAN ---~-~-~. S. ~~ HF~$,12Y Sj RUDDhE, VICE CHR. J _ AKI, f~M~R K. LA'r NR ~ SPENCER K.
