HES-2760(1) We transmit for your consideration and adoption a proposed Resolution, providing for the acquisition of lands for the Kilauea-Kawailani Traffic Signal Improvements Project through proceedings in eminent domain. There are 13 parcels needed for this project (see attached map). We have secured consent from the owners to purchase their properties except for the three parcels contained in this proposed resolution. The portions we propose to acquire are shaded in yellow. We are in continuing negotiations with the owners of these three parcels and may soon reach agreement with them.
