RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Council on June 3, 1992
appropriated $20,000 for the promotional funds for the eight (8)
participants of the 1992 Merrie Monarch Hula Festival to go to the
World Expo in Seville Spain; and
WHEREAS, an additional $5,000 was originally requested but
not available at that time; and
WHEREAS, the 1992-1993 budget year started July 1, 1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that $5,000 be transferred out and from the General Fund
Clerk-Council Miscellaneous Contractual Services Account No.
010-101-5101.02-115(c), designated for Sister Cities, and
appropriate said funds and credit same to the County of Hawaii
Department of Research and Development's Tourism Promotion
Miscellaneous Charges Account No. 010-161-5161.60-341.
