make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.

Dear Chairman Schutte and Members of the County Council:
SUBJECT: RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER FUNDS
MISCELLANEOUS INSURANCE CLAIMS AND JUDGMENTS
The County Council, at its November 5, 1992 meeting, agreed to
settle the claims of Jane Does 1 - 11, exclusive of attorney fees.
Since the Miscellaneous Claims and Judgments account does not have
sufficient funds to pay the claims, we enclose for Council action a
resolution which will transfer funds from the Contingency account
for this purpose.
We request that this matter be taken up by the full council at its
November 18, 1992 meeting in order to expedite payment and avoid any
additional charges. Thank you very much.

Re: Resolution to Transfer Funds - Miscellaneous Insurance
Claims and Judgments
Pursuant to Section 1(d) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of
the Council of the County of Hawaii, this written approval is
submitted in regards to Resolution No. 545, relating to transfer
funds - miscellaneous insurance claims and judgments, waiving said
referral from the Committee on Finance in order that appropriate
action can be taken by the Council_
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable
that such waiver be granted.
