Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Guy H. Kaulukukui of Council District 6, tb-the Hawai'i
County Charter Commission. Mr. Kaulukukui is a 48-year resident of Hawai'i. He is
employed by The Kohala Center as Director of the Hawai'i Island Food Self-Reliance
Project.
Mr. Kaulukukui is a board member of Kanu O Ka Aina Learning Ohana and also a board
member of Ho'okako'o Corporation. He states that he is not affiliated with any political
party. If approved, he will be replacing Seth Murashige who resigned.
