RE: A Resolution Encouraging the County of upport the Concept that
Community Organizations Assume Leades and Seek Funding Sources
for the Construction and Development of Uses To Create the Kona Shoreline Park
Project Within the Old Kona Airport Park, and Endorse the Role of the County of
Hawaii to Act as the Conduit and/or Sponsor through which any and all
Development Funds such as ARRA ("American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act") may be Solicited as the Kona Shoreline Park Project Evolves.
The above-referenced resolution attached to this communication is being submitted for
consideration and placement on the appropriate agenda for the July 21, 2009 Council
Committees meeting in West Hawaii. Thank you.
