Aloha,
I am adamently opposed to Resolution#201 which calls for reorganizing the County Council. It
appears to be an attempt to Disorganize the council and render it useless during trying economic
times, when we need competent and intelligent Councilmembers representing the taxpayers and
voters of our County.
Dominic Yagong has shown backbone, intelligence and integrity on Finance, and you seem to
want to remove his voice on behalf of taxpayers. Why? Who will stand up to the mayor and the
same old... lack of responsibility. We need his voice on our Council, and this is the wrong time to
replace him with unknown and inexperienced person. He has the experience and smarts that I
want!
Likewise, Brenda Ford knows how to work with people. She has experience and people skills.
Again, you're trying to disable our Council with less experience. Why?
Please show some respect for voters and taxpayers of the Big Island and don't disable what's
working.
