Subject: Reinstate Bill 21 Ordinance 97 to Council Agenda
July 8, 2009
Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members,
The above project was postponed at the council meeting, Mazch 23, 2009.
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation has concurred that the condition. set
forth by their letter, dated November 3, 2008 is a hardship & expense for the owner of the
subject parcel and has rescinded that condition. And as stated in their letter, dated
May 21, 2009 has no objections to the Change of Zone Application.
Please schedule this back to the agenda of the council for the August 8, 2009 meeting to
be held in Hilo.
Thank you for you patience during the resolution process with the DOT and for you
attention to this matter.
