RESOLUTION N0. 5~~ ~~
WHEREAS, the Honorable Gabriel Mesquita De Brito was
recently appointed Consul General and assigned to the
Portuguese Consulate at San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, the Consul General and Mrs. De Brito have
scheduled an official visit to the Big Island on January 28
and 29, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Big Island's citizens of Portuguese ancestry
will welcome the Consul General and Mrs. De Brito with
festivities during their visit, including a dinner in honor
of the Consul General.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it joins in extending its warmest
welcome and aloha to the Honorable Consul General and
Mrs. Gabriel Mesquita De Brito.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii is hereby directed to deliver a true copy of this
Resolution to the Consul General and Mrs. Gabriel Mesquita
De Brito.
